Rust on front wings

Hello all. Just checking how many of ou have had rust on your front wings, specially on 2009+ cars.
Noticed today one of the front wings has a few bubbles coming trough. Went to my local VW dealer who took pics and has submitted my claim to vw. Will have to wait until a week to get a response. What I was told from the dealer was interesting. VW will only pay for the wing and paint the panel, any other work will not be paid. They by default always blend the wing with the front door but the lower trim in chrome won't be paid by them and I will have to pay for it.
