Ok, Im of a mind to pull the auxiliary heater out and sort the resistors, them hopefully being the issue as is said to be the common cause of faults.
This is the 900W electrical supplementary heater in the cars air ducting system, well on those models that got one.
Some of us have talked about them here before and it was inconclusive where it is in RHD and how easy to reach.
Its more or less got to be over the pedals or accessed with the glovebox out.
Ive got limited time to have a crack, if Im not dismantling main dash structure or pedals Ill have a try.
Does anyone have actual experience removing/refitting one on a RHD car?
