What wheels are people running?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been done to death but I'm new 
What's the general consensus on wheel size on the b6? I'm hopefully going to pick up an estate highline tomorrow and I'll be wanting wheels for it...
I take it 18's and 19's fit but are there any issues with 19's? What's the max width you can go and what's the best offset. It's gonna be a family car so can't get silly lows
and it's gonna be used to tow our caravan so iv got to keep my sensible head on
