New Clutch making a light grinding/sandpaper noise

Hi
I just had a new full clutch installed, it seems to drive fine and I don't notice any sounds inside the car but with the car idling and the door open I can hear a light grinding noise almost like sandpaper rubbing when the clutch is press down. Once the clutch pedal is released there is no noise. Is this normal? Just want to find out before calling the garage.
