That P2015 fix

Afternoon all,
Has anybody carried the bracket fix to limit the movement on the swirl flaps? If you have did it work?
I only ask as it didn’t work when I had it done. If I google the issue, it seems there is one other guy on an Audi forum. I’m wondering if this is unusual or people just don’t comment if the fix doesn’t work on their car?
