Brake sensor wiring

Recently changed front pads due to MFD warning to check them etc.
Turns out it’s the wiring again!

So when I got the car the wiring plug was damaged and I replaced it with one I got from fleabay, and until recently it worked perfectly well.
I did notice when fitting it that they’ve used (on the original car loom) the type of wire that won’t accept solder so I used a couple of straight through crimp connectors.

Looks now like the wiring has continued to corrode inside the insulation and due to cutting back is now getting very close to the joint where it meets the ABS wiring.

Does anyone know of a way to stop said corrosion, or how to get a connector on there that won’t degrade as this one has done?

Or of course, any other ideas. For now the
Sensor is bypassed by connecting the wires together.
