I have a set of R17 A8 V8 competition alloys with new 235/45 R17 tyres, well newish and theyll be getting new winter rubber on the fronts if I keep them.
I had hoped to keep them on the new B6
The offset is ET35, this was perfect for the old B5.5
However the fronts poke slightly when fitted to the B6. Thats fine on standard suspension.
Trouble is Ill be fitting my new Bilstein B12-Pro kit and the car will drop approximately 30mm.
To my eye Im convinced theyll rub the front, but Im reading too many conflicting yes / no stories online.
(Yes I know theres a lit of variance in "standard" sizes of different makes).
Anyone done this and found they do or dont rub? I need confirmed experienced based answers please, not just speculation, I dont want to sacrifice paintwork finding out.
Will they rub???
