Hello & Welcome to UKPassats

The only dedicated web site for the VW PASSAT and its related models

Hi, my names Ant and I started UKPASSATS approximately 6 years ago. Here' s a brief overview.

After being in the VW scene for a long time and owning lots of their other models, I came across a black VW Passat, the B5 20vt model. At the time I didn't know much about this model or even Passats in general. After a long search on the web to try and find out more info, I was surprised by the lack of sites or forums out there to help me, or other UK owners, but there was already a few well established American based Web sites. Seeing these gave me the idea to set up a UK web site dedicated to just Passat Owners. UKPASSATS was then born, and through this site it helped me to build my own Passat to one of the most well known on the site, with over 260bhp. (Sadly I' ve now sold it on!).

Since the early days we have changed and developed the web site, what you now see is the current updated version of the site, which is forever evolving. I do hope you like what you see. Please come in, join up and take a look around. We have taken on many parts suppliers/sponsors who have also helped to make UKPASSATS what it is today, and they also offer many of our members a discount. With well over a 40,000 members, we have had many magazine features, organise monthly group buys, regular local meets, rolling roads, a yearly show, and even a track day!

The web site has a nice chilled and relaxed feel about it, yet still retains it vital core and is very informative, we aim for a site to suit all the family whether young or old. So no swearing please. Already joined up and on-line regular is a broad mix of friendly people, all happy to share the knowledge with anyone new to the world of Passats, which we hope will make you feel at home and make sure your visit is one you will remember, and come back time and time again.

If you are a supplier of parts etc or want to know more about UKPASSATS , then please feel free to get in touch via the forum and we will be more than happy to help.
