Sounds like a sensor wire has come loose....check them all around unplug them and blow around them and reconnect them again ensuring there all tight. Have come across this before simple but worrying at the time! Hope this sorts it

Beware of the back bolt on alternator...it can be tricky to get off

Alright guys and gals was just driving up the road there and the orange glow light (heater plug) start flashing and engine workshop start flashing on the computer in the middle console. What milege is on the gearbox?? People dont realise that transmission fluid and filter should be changed in an auto gearbox every 100k or so (or that it even exists)... Perfect time to do it was when the engine was out!

I had that comin up on my tdi and it was the clutch pulley which caused the belt to jump around the place and finally go in ribbbons....Im sure its a common fault in both petrol and diesels

Check the plenum drains around the battery area as they clog up and allow water to run free (wherever it wants to go usually into the car under the carpets) theres a thread on it at the top of this section. First passat i had was a 02 130tdi 6 speed with 180k i changed cv joint on drivers side and not a moments trouble after that. Having said that iv an 02 tdi 100 with 113k at the min and boy she is breakin my heart!!!

Hi all just wonderin if i took the turbo out off my 100 tdi b5.5 and put in a 130 or 150bhp turbo in would i see an increase in power or is it a case of "if it aint broke dont fix it"?? Only ask as i know where i can get 1 from a chap over the road

No offence 2 anybody who has or had 1 but der v slow...i mean if you put it alongside an impreza sti (2.0 turbo jus like gt4) the subaru makes it look silly... The t sport is a 1.8vvtli wit no turbo and it can fairly move...powerwise it wont throw you back inte the seat but itl reach 100 in no time....

Not to bad to insure and just as quick as any gt4 is the newer type celica t sport 190bhp (feels much quicker) toyota quality and superbly finished inside....go on ya know ya want 1
