I recently took my B6 with the same lights to france, with just the standard deflectors. I passed loads of police and other cars in france (with the lights on) without any problems

I've seen one in a VW Dealer, back end is a but dull. Interior looks VERY similar to a later B6

I have succesfully fitted some b6 alloys onto a B5.5 estate, so they should fit

My B6 1.9 TDI is a great car. Pokey, responsive and overall a more modern car compared to my B5.5. VW have added a few nice touches to the B6 which make it a pleasant drive.

The wheels are standard alloys and probably came from the factory with them.

You should be able to buy one from VW. Probably about £5 to £10.

I want to run an amplifier from a RCD300 head unit (Standard unit on B6 '05 Passat), but I not sure haw to wire the remote lead from the amp into the car/radio. On my B5.5 I found a wire which seemed to do the job, but it also flattened the battery if the car wasn't used for a few days..... Does any...

I had mine up on ramps the other day for its MOT and again there was water dripping out. The mechanic checked and confirmed that it was just condensation from the A/C.

People sell individual wheels on eBay all the time, for the same reason. Have a look, you may get lucky !!!

Touch Wood, my B6 is fine aswell. I have an 05 model, its done 111000 miles and so far no problems.

I would strongly recommend it, I'm the proud owner of a B5.5 aswell and the B6 is a better drive

For once VW are cheaper than eBay

The hooks themselves are Skoda items but are available from VW parts department. They do however have to be ordered. Don't forget to get the fixing screws and brackets aswell. My second hook and fixings cost around £6 - £7. Total bargain if you ask me, I would highly recommend this addition to any...

One problem that I have encountered since owning my B6, is the washer jets are a little tempremental. Sometimes they will work and others, water jets will spray out in funny weird directions. Recently the jets stopped working completely. I soaked them in hot water, still blocked. I even socked them ...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to clear blocked washer jets. They've been playing up for a while and finally nothing is come out. I've taken them off from under the bonnet and water still comes out from just the pipes. I've socked the jet nozzles in hot soapy water to try and clear the muck...

Sorted everyone, turned out to be a loose relay behind the dashboard. Job done !!!

Would you believe it, I leave for France in a couple of days and my 12v supply / Cig lighter has stopped working, I need it for the Sat Nav.

I've checked all the fuses and they appear to be fine, has anyone got any suggestions ??

I've got a trip to france in a couple of days and am having problems getting headlight converters for my car. Problem is I have the BI-Xenon headlights. The handbook says I have to contact the main dealer to adjust and de-activate the headlight positioning motor.

Does anyone have any suggestions ??

Theres a Scrappy near me that has a few B5.5's. I have just got a CCM out of one for my car and I only paid £50.
