Of course - never considered them!
Is there anything where the rears are a straight swap too?

Re: Heater control illumination query
That seems to pretty much just bathe the ashtray in a green glow - the dials are still dark. There's a 2 pin connector at the rear of the control assembly, with 2 rigid wire tracks that head toward the centre of the middle dial - hence my assumption that there was a bulb holder missing... Or am I mi...

True - With my "anything is possible" hat on, I'd be measuring jag X300 sport seats first...
I was thinking more down the lines of what'd plonk in giving me an easy (as well as comfier) life though... I don't really want to be spending [huge amounts of] time on the car at the moment.

Heater control illumination query
Am I correct that the bulb holder for the heater panel illumination is integrated into the "pointer" of the middle control? (inside the knob itself) The pointer is missing out of mine (b4) and having just stripped it all down, removed the panel etc. that's all I can guess... (Orignally ass...

B4 seat upgrades
So... I know mk3 golf seats are a straight swap, and that b3 ones are the same... But what else fits straight in? I wondered about 6n polo (fronts) and audi 80 (again, mainly fronts, but rears would be nice if it's a viable option!) but haven't taken any measurements... Quite excited aout the prospe...

Sub boxes: There's a whole lot of science in these... Some advice though: 1: Ignore the generic boxes you get. 2: Research EVERY sub you consider - get the Theille-Small parameters for them... Ignore any sub which you can't get the data for. 3: Download a copy of WinISD (or similar) 4: Input the sub...

Re: Running different size subs
Presumably the only "cancelling out" that could occur is due to phase. If the cabinets are tuned for flat response, the extension offered by the 15" will simply mean that it'll play lower (unless the 12" has a greater excursion than the 15") so you'd be doubling up higher in...

Hi from the cloudy midlands!
I'm trying to buck a trend this time - I've never posted in the "introductions" section on a forum before! ... So... the trend... 1st car was a '93 polo. Nothing special, but I kept it nice, did lots of work, replaced practically everything, had it pretty much sorted (owned about 3 years) ...
