Transporter rims are your best bet for cheap ones... for some reason people seem to charge more for passat ones... but the tyres are too big on the transporter

I was debating going down this route... apparently they aren't all they're cracked up to be... you can achieve the same result with a resistor. And 150k isn't that high tbh... There's guys on here getting maps done at 200+ i want to do mine and thats just tootled over 212000. Imo go for a map. Sent ...

40mm springs... I have coilovers on mine and kind of regret selling the springs now. Cheap coilovers just aren't worth it. I payed 400 for mine and id still prefer springs and shocks. Just my opinion but 40mm gives it a gpod stance and firms everything up nicely

Do I need to have the car taken to a mapping specialist to have my egr and regen cycle turned off?
Or is it a simple case of switching them off?

Re: Waste gate
It should already have a waste gate.... all tdis do. The waste gate holds the pressure to a certain psi or bar and the dumps it when you lift off.. i think thats how it works.

I've got the ap coilovers on mine... they seem ok.. well they were when I had it slammed... not so good now its at a decent height. The damper rod cant extend far enough cause they are shortend. But on the whole they are good. Warrantys good too.

Changed pads and the warning lights on

My friend then explained to me that on most cars the light only comes on when the pads wear down enough to make an earth connection or something so I figured it wouldnt be a problem... it is ...

Engine mount query and light woes
My engine mounts need replacing... Can I get an uprgrade such as powerflex or some sort of polybush equivalent? I'm fully aware of the vibrations a polybush will cause before someone lectures me on comfort issues. My other problem is my lights, I've upgraded to 4300k hids and even then dip beam is s...
