I've been doing some reading into this, mainly for Golfs and Boras.
The Thule one supposidly fits the OEM bars as they are similar to the aero ones that Thule do.
Just wondering if anyone has done this?

Re: Pricing
It's a bit of a love hate relationship with this car, I think I just hate it cause of the stuff that's going wrong.
You are all right..... I'll probably keep it but at the moment I dislike it very much
Stupid thing!

Re: Pricing
Yeah that is true however I'd rather be paying less for Petrol and still be getting poo MPG than paying more for diesel and getting the same effect.

Re: Pricing
Iii it's a shitter... not really doing the mileage at the moment... costing me more to run just cause I am not getting the economy out of it. Shame cause I've had 2 mates who have bought ones with 130 ish K on and both of them have had diff bearings clutches etc go. Low mileage isn't everything

Pricing
Thinking about selling the wagon after Xmas maybe. Just not sure how to price it really, it'd be on around 250k however it's getting a new turbo this weekend, near a full year MOT on it, 4 near new tyres etc, list goes on really, wouldn't want to let it go for nothing but people don't want 'high mil...

Re: Surging problem!
Is the CTS the climatronic readout?
It sits at just under 70 degrees, doesn't help that it does 8 mile to work and then 8 back... not healthy for it.

Surging problem!
Now then. Cars started surging, but it's only doing it once it gets up to temp. Pulls fine through first and then the juddering kicks in more in second and continues to get worse the higher up the gears and the faster I go. Scanned the car and no fault codes so where does it leave me? Doing the Mr M...

Pulsating power
Now then guys! Got a problem with the wagon. It's starting juddering badly under acceration, almost like the engines trying to twist it'self out of the mounts. Haven't had the car scanned as of yet, just wondering if anyones had anything similar to this happen to them? Cars a PD130 AVF lump if that ...

Re: Tyre Sizes
Well I had Road americas with spacers on which had the backs sitting at et17, and it never scrubbed then. May have to go to the skinny route. Either that or roll my arches

But that's for the VW ones isn't it? Like the Largos etc
These stick out quite far. Just the tyres a bit fat

Re: Tyre Sizes
I figured that, just wanted to be sure before I sink money into tyres.
Just scrubs on the lips of the arches on all 4 corners.
Could roll the arches I guess [emoji52]

Tyre Sizes
I am currently running 225/50/17 with a wheel offset of et20
These are currently scrubbing on the front arches, will a 215/50/17 be a noticeable difference or will it still scrub?
Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Neuspeed rear anti roll bar Group Buy?
I agree with that like most people do. Replacing the wagon would be hard as it-s just such a practical car... my mates offered me he 106 for a week to see if I could live with the size, noise, fuel etc. See how that goes ay. £270 is a lot of money but if it works then it'll be worth while Sent from...
