Is there any pointers or how-to on replacing the bonnet cable?

I spent too much time getting the bonnet open at the weekend, going to replace the lock and cable...

Hi guys, I have the darkside egr delete pipe ready to install at the weekend. I got my 2005 AVB remapped about 3 years ago and the EGR deleted so I shouldnt expect any fault codes. I cant wait to see how clogged the intake manifold is and clean it out. I need help on what to do with the vacuum hoses...

How did you get on with the replacement?

Are the new seats a lot more supportive?

I have a 2005 B5.5 Comfortline, between the seat and a new set of shocks i should be right.

They also sell the correct kit at €485.

As the title suggests I am looking to replace the front suspension arms on my B5.5 Passat. I have been quoted €635 locally for the full kit. I am based in Ireland but can get stuff across from the UK quite easily. I don't see any resellers advertising on this site. Any information would be greatly...

Don't remove anything.

Get a can of contact cleaner and spray it into the base of the stalk while cyclingthe indicator stalk.

Done the trick for me, only found out after I had bought a new hazard switch.

The current one is scratched to bits by the previous owner.

Hi folks, new on the forum, just got a 05 saloon comfortline. Very happy with it so far.

I drive with the cruise control switch always on and then set or cancel it as I need using the steering wheel controls.

Is this ok or am I over working the cc computer by having it always armed?
