my bumper bar is steel on my 1.8t sport b5.5 but my b5 1.8t had an alloy bumper bar, surely the alloy one is better? whats yours made from? anyone tested the weight difference? why did they change them?

i had this on my old b5, was the tensioner at the front of the engine as it finally collapsed, new one fitted sorted it. also the aircon pulley if thats ok as this one went shortly after

i have a similar problem, i have changed my maf to a new one and still have the problem. mine is under fueling for some reason, ive changed fuel filter so far then its pump injectors and pressure valve

yup first thing i did was disconnect the wiring plug and ran a few days like that then took the pump off altogether , you will need to plug the hole on your airbox

its not about using fuel, its about providing enough flow and pressure to feed the injectors.

my old b5 engine has grey injectors, my b5.5 has blue. is this right? im planning on fitting my old skyline pump, changing to s3 injectors and regulator and getting it remapped.

no just a normal diagnostic checker, dont know anyone with vcds
