I got up early and went to the breakers. Home and the lights are now fitted. I just have to wait for the load resistor to arrive and then vagcom.

Disaster..... Just stripped the red rear light in order to fit the led ring. Turns out the donor light was of a saloon and is a different depth compared to the estate... Sad times. ok, quick update as it's been a while since i've uploaded any photos of the mods on the car. The drawer is my favourite, it turned out really well the way the wrap goes right up to the chrome trim

Funny you mention engine bits. I was thinking the same. Not sure how it would cope with the heat though. Tailgate will look well wrapped, and easily removed if you get bored or want a change. No reply as yet but I'll call him tomorrow. If it falls through i might have a company in china that sells the abs plastic kits...
