As long as it didn't feed on the oil and just burnt it you should be ok the only reason they blow up is because the just rev and rev way outside of the range and obviously running out of oil at high rpm isn't too good

Try inspecting your cam first buddy before jumping in the deep end it may be a sticky tappet and a decent oil flush with quality PD approved oil to be used

The light probably came on after service due to the technician clearing the fault memory, resistance too high I would check plugs for corrosion and check the seat it takes no more then 10 minutes to remove all you need is a 13mm socket and ratchet and the seat slides out

I have too many problems with pagid at work they squeel like mad but when fitting ate pads no problems I put it down to the compounds used textar is better its the same company as pagid (TMD friction) but higher quality like the springs don't seem flimsy
