Vwcc how much did you 0ay for the cc tail lights if u can say it ? Is lots of work to change them or is easy ? Where is best places to buy them ?? Out of interest, what do you have to change apart from the rear lights? He had to change rear bumper and get some tail holders from vw. Plus make bigger holes in boot lid. And of course wiring. oh wow, thanks for all the informative posts. I really don't want to go through what you been going through. I might change the DSG oil and start looking into trading it in. I don't have any sort of warranty on my car so I will have to pay the total cost.

Yh i'm still running on them. It looks great in person. I done it in matte black and with some tire shine, Perfect!. 2009 passat cc

Mine cracked on the middle about a year ago. I called vw and they said, they never heard about this before so I have to pay for the repair fully. Its still cracked right now.

The day engine management light came on, the coolant was below minimum and I topped it up straight away which was like a month ago. My mechanic topped it up couple of days ago. Volksauto called me and told me that the coolant pump is gone, wiring for it, and the pins. The wiring was melted some how and it created short circuit which caused F16 fuse(in engine bay) to contentiously go out. Coolant pump was there when the engine management light came on. The previous mechanic was suppose to charge me £60 to change the egr valve but I paid him £40 because he wasted my time... God knows if it was the egr valve, he was assuring me that egr was gone. thanks for all the reply guys, The car still in mechanic, changed the EGR valve as told by the mechanic and now a fuse keep going out and a new fault came up saying "egr valve coolant" I think. Boost control fault still there as before, he is claiming there is some sort of electrical fault...

Anyone know any good mechanic in south London preferably near Croydon...?
