Re: water/coolent loss
The drop in mpg could have something to do with it, i'm not clued up on the pd lump so hopefully someone could shed further light on that for you Whats it like starting from cold, is it lumpy or anything? The venting from the expansion tank could mean a number of things ranging from a leak to head g...

Re: Extra Seats in Boot
I suppose it can be done, although at the end of the day its a crumple zone although look at the rear seats in the likes of the Zafira :0 I had a 406 family, which had the fairly rare 2 extra rear facing seats in the boot, clever design as they folded into the floor and even had a door handle on the...

Good luck with the search mate, that certainly looks a nice saloon You've certainly had a few Rovers, I do like the ZR & ZS (in standard form) however always put off by the alarming rate the go through head gaskets, especially the 1.4 and 1.8's I did spend a time a while back looking for a good ...

Re: water/coolent loss
Theres an overflow vent at the bottom of the expansion tank, if you feel or look at the bottom of the tank you will see a little tube it took me ages to fathom out where I was loosing it as sitting at idle it would'nt lose a drop, yet go for a spirited run and again the level would be on minimum I r...

It would if you select the corect value for the maf and do a diagnostic run to compare the requested and the actual values
This is how I discovered my maf was duff, However it never actually threw up a fault for it
