Re: Egr vavle needle help

In my opinion if you can feel air the leak is not big enough to make an impression.

If you replace the o ring it should stop the oil seeping out though!! :esm

Re: Egr vavle needle help

If you close the butterfly you feed the engine with only exhaust gas so it should be killing the engine. As long as the bolts are tight there should not be any leak of air there. If the engine is on is the any air escaping you can feel with your hand? When I did mine i took off the inlet manifold to...

My brother bought a phatsat last Monday and as soon as he drove away from the estate where the guy lives the lights came on. Checked up on here and he bought a Brake Light Switch for a tenner of ebay. I fitted it for him on Wednesday and immidetately fixed the problem. 90% this will fix your problem...

Re: Oil Change

As far as I am aware there is not but are you looking for help with it?? It is dead easy. Jack up the car after a bit of a drive to warm the engine. Open the cap to put oil in, undo the bolt to drain the oil out. Let the car sit a while and while it is sitting, undone the cap for the oil filter. Tak...

Re: Euro Car Parts

You are correct! Some items are not usable for the ukpas25 and there's a minimum spend £25 I think. I just tried to get pas pump and timing kit with no discount. Have you tried carparts4less? Although no discount there most parts are same price with our discount at ECP. carparts 4 less looks exact...

These are a great job. My wife from is from Poland and nearly 50% of cars have them over there.

I was borrowing her dad's 'sat and it saved me a few times from the teddy bears hair-dryers.

Would install it here in my passat but not enough people have them for any real use.

Just done it tonight. Installed Motordiag and fought for about an hour and a half to try and get the cable driver to install and to get the Motordiag and VAG-COM Lite to recognize the cable. When the cable finally did install I had to change the COM Port from 11 to either 1,2,3 or 4. To change it yo...

I have had this problem for the last two weeks now but I have had to fight with it nearly everyday as the pressure just seems to blow the cable ties off each time.

Me thinks maybe it is my lead foot??

Intercooler Hose Blown

A few weeks ago I had heard the all to familiar noise of air hissing as I put my lead foot down. Nevertheless I kept driving and after a day or two I heard a loud pop and started to see a lot of black smoke. I knew what was up, the intercooler hose I replaced nine months ago had blown out of its hou...

Have you tried pressing the button on the door pillar before you get out and lock the car? It is to turn the sensors internally off but maybe thats the problem? You just need to do that everytime you get out to lock the car.

If you have a VAG-COM lead download the motordiag program and register it then you will be able to remotely open your windows.
