Hi can anyone help i need to change a rear wheel bareing on my w reg passat. Look alover the internet for a step by step way to do it but to no joy

the car drives good no hissing. Every so often the turbo stops working but when i turn off the car ans start it straight up its fine that's the only problem

Hello there I replaced my tdi turbo about 6 months ago. I noticed over the last couple of days with the snow a patch of oil under the drivers side right at the front. On inspection the big black pipe where it joins the metal bar there is oil coming out and its quite allot can anyone advise pls

Back door wont shut
The back door of my passat wont shut it just keeps bouncing back removed the lock and gave it a bit of lube. But it still wont keep closed any help thanks

turbo loss power
Just replaced the turbo on my diesel passat. I also have one that as not had turbo and they both keep losing power every so often if you push it too much. But when you turn the ignition off and straight back on it sorts it out. Any fixes or can anyone tell me the problem

Already got seat belt on and it only does it when its cold so I think the first thread was right knackered battery. So thanks again will try a new battery. Pluged it into vag and there is no faults.

Thanks for your reply's. Going to try a new sensor today and have a look at the ring gear see if its damaged. Would it find another fault if it was the abs pump at fault.

Its a w reg and yes it does the abs kicks in all the time but when the light comes on the abs does not do it

Hello there can anyone help my passat computer screen as just gone blank the other day. Phoned a place on the net and for £230 they will sort it out and recode it. Went to a vw breakers and he said he would not touch it as it needs a four diget code and vw wont give it out pls help

Hi Dave put a new crank shaft sensor in and no change. Someone told me there was a sensor in the water that tells the ecu that the car is overheating and this could have failed. They said take the thermosat out and try that ant ideas. At my wits end now might take it to my local weight bridge :mad:
