Re: new guy take a look !

Welcome!

Nice clean motor you have there! :)

Did your mirrors ever fold? I only ask because they used the same switch on cars with out the folding option, giving the impression it should do something.

I love it! better than a road bike any day...  cal - where do you work to fix...

Tip, if they don't come with tyres & you're getting rubber put one, explicitly specify they use stick on weights as the AvusII have a rim on them for the hammer on type :( Std size for the passat is 225/45 but 215's would be fine on a 7 1/2 rim Don't be too concerned about rim protection as the...

New wheels on their way!

ordered some new rims last night. :D 17" s4 reps, Just need to work out what tire size to get without giving to much stretch. looking at 215/45 on a 17" 7.5"rim should be ok. Although VW put 225's on that rim size I think. Any way here's a photoshop, 8) http://i87.photobucket.com/albu...

If you can, get a junior hacksaw to it and cut a decent slot in it, like turning it into a big screw. Then get a big Flat head screwdriver (ideally one with a square shaft so you can get an adjustable spanner on it) and push with all your might so it doesn't slip while you turn it. Might be good to ...
