Took my 03 53 plate sport in a couple of weeks ago to get the wings and boot looked at by local dealer, got a phone call from dealer on wednesday past saying that i would only get 50% good will from vw. The volume knob on my radio won't change the volume up or down, has anyone ever had this problem before? It's just a standard radio with a 6 disc cd changer below it in the dash.

I recently got a towbar fitted to my passat, yesterday i was towing a trailer and i noticed when i put my sidelights on it would bring my esp light on, if i removed the trailer lighting socket the light would be gone.
Anyone any ideas why this would be happening? Thanks.

I bought a leon with the engine gone in it, its code is alh, i can get an agr out of a golf at handy money, can anyone tell me for sure if it will fit or not? Thanks.

How much lower is a sport tdi than say a highline or se tdi?

Im not sure. Are you thinking its the coolant temp sensor? Could that cause this?

That's true, glow plug light came on in my mk4 golf last week and the brake lights only work the odd time.

Brake light switch gone, check if the brake lights are working.

I just bought a 2001 passat sport, engine code avx, it feels really dead until about 2500 revs then feels a bit quicker, another family member has a sport, engine code also avx, and has a surge of power from 1200 revs,
Anyone any ideas why this is? No EML on either.
