If im not mistaken it wont rev past 3k only when the clutch has been pressed is that what you mean

You doe if you want OEM, did you just fit a new 77mil key? Why would anyone want a 77mm oem one if its failed once it will fail again so no point. I just had the parts priced up from main dealer, 48 for the drive gear, 72p x 4 for the bolts, key was less than a tenner, this was like for like on a CR engine, its done 180k so I see no reason to fit an upgrade kit, ten years ago when it was newer then maybe, if you want the 100mm upgrade from th...

Mitch is it a proven for liqui moly to work ,,,, have you noticed any difference, im seriously contemplating it but a bit sceptical.

Definitely get the sump off and check, id put my money on it failing. mine did exactly the same drove it with the light on down the road and when I pulled up at home it was a really hard brake pedal,,,, Anyway balancer shaft done and all was ok including a nice brake pedal, just under 190k miles on...

That will not polish out mate, id expect the mechanic to put it rite

you have a couple of options, buy 2nd hand piece or rub down and paint
2nd hand is probably the easiest option or you could also try a silver touch up on it to take the eye of it.

I have checked the inlet manifold actuator and it doesn't hold any vac at all,, £15 for a new one from darkside performance,,, gone through all the pipes on the bulkhead the solenoid valves themselves are creating vacuum but I suspect it between the vnt turbo actuator and the solenoid, I can create ...

Hi people ive got a little problem with my car 07 2.0 tdi bkp Its throwing a p0299 underboost code (not vcds) sluggish as hell with a flat spot about 2100-2300 revs once you get past that it starts to accelerate ok ish and gets upto 17psi which is still around 5psi lower than what I remember getting...

Well if it's any help i've done over 160k on a kmb shaft, so cant complain.
