Bulb holders for HID's???
Just mentioned to my brother who fitted the Nightbreaksers for me he said the HID kits on eBay won't fit without a bulb holder or something! Is this true?
Also if any of you have fitted an HID kit recently could you post the link if they were any good!
Thanks

Yes 15mm and 20mm is too much for ET42 as they will poke . Here's 15 and 20mm on ET47 . http://rs1310.pbsrc.com/albums/s645/Gazwould/5f7936e7-d7f9-4d86-8485-32cf393af0dd_zpsaa22cbba.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip http://rs1310.pbsrc.com/albums/s645/Gazwould/20140127_162255_zps495b6e02.jpg?w=480&a...

Re: Passat B5.5 with VW Scirocco - Donington Alloys????
Offset of Donningtons is 42 ?? wheel width and tyre width ? If ET 42 , 7.5J with 235 they will go on without spacers but to look the best , use spacers 10mm front , 15mm rear if above specs are correct . Thanks will try and test fit them! I know you say to look the best use 10 and 15 but would 15 a...

Re: B5.5 Alloy Wheels
Sport model bumpstops are shorter, standard ones are too long for lowering. The travel is shortened when lowering and bottoming out the travel will cause the car to bounce on the bumpstops making the ride unpredictable and erratic. You can cut down the bumpstops and reglue them in place but old bum...

Re: B5.5 Alloy Wheels
Ride quality and Eibach are legendary . Yes top mounts , available from CP4L ECP , and actually oem as the VW numbers are scrubbed off , fronts are SKF and rear are Lemforder . I would get a fresh set of dust covers and bump stops as you would have to cut your bump stops down anyway . All items mus...

Re: Passat B5.5 with VW Scirocco - Donington Alloys????
Monte's are ET 47 so close to the front suspension . Throughout most of the VAG range an extra 5 mm at the back is best as the hubs are more tucked . So I used 15mm front and 20mm rear , so final offsets are , 32mm front and 27mm rear . So would thoses spacers be og for the Donningtons as well? or ...
