cheers guys for the above advice, and yes you was right, there was a nozzle where pipe goes on at tandem pump and its slack as chuff. so gona get new tandem pump from breakers or somewhere thats not hopefully too expensive and get a mate to fit it. really like this forum, everyones so helpful and po...

yea its weird, handles very well, no body roll and only went for a 20mm drop but wi the 18s on its sits nice.

my cars on 220k and every arm thats came of apart from track rod end is original audi parts it like there welded in.
just thinking the pinch bolt isnt held in by a thread is it? its just solid in due to age ect?

well folks not sure if ive made the right choice
but ive bought sum Tuning Art coilovers, they come with 3 yrs warranty so if they break they can go back, got desperate in the end as me cars slowly creeping to the floor.
should arrive here by next thurs so gona be busy next weekend doing it all.

im picking up some 18s tamoz, whats best thing to do, buy oe sachs uprated shocks all round and just buy lowering springs? say 40mm lowering springs? would like a comfy ride but again dont want wheels to hit arch or owt.
any advice is great

Cheers Adam for the reply, i think to be on safe side il take it too a friends garage and get him to diagnose it and go from there. last thing like ya say is bang 2nd hand part on and brake fail at 80mph %-( hopefully it wont cost me a fortune as its having 380 on fri in suspension all round and ful...

Hi Guys I cut an pasted a how too ''change brake servo thread'' very useful indeed. any way when i press my brake pedal i hear a hiss, like air is escaping. im thinking just changing my brake servo+master cylinder ect to cover all angles, do all the parts servos ect fit all models, ie does it matter...

think my turbo is on its way out, using oil, blue ish smoke smells like unspent fuel or something like that.
cars on 220k so not sure if its the original ect.
does anyone know of anyone that rebuilds 1.9 turbos?

there is a few on here that could do this job for ya cheaper. i got mine done by chris adams for 350quid inc parts and was mint. not on this forum anymore i believe.

just bought a 2litre passat great cond just wont start bought it off a guy off barraks for 200quid gona take undertray and zip tie it to mine and break anything that will fit mine and break rest on ebay then get scrappers to take it.
