I use a variety of products too....mostly megs and ag, due to 3 for 2 offers at halfrauds lol. I've been impressed with poor boys stuff and it smells stunning too. Is the autobrite stuff expensive?
I've found perfectly detailed (aberlee on ebay) good for prices....not sure if he sells autobrite tho.

What car do you have?? Sorry for jumping in to this thread I have a 1999 PD 115 estate sport please say I just need carriers hope so. As picking up a pair tomorrow for £20 :-) be my best buy if they fit lol is that a b5?....i don't think you will have the correct calipers. You need the fn3 ate cal...

Fair play looking stunning as always mate....i had the same problem with headlights, after polishing them i had marks/ clouding on the inside....apparently you can wash it out with dishwasher tabs in water....remove your headlights and rinse. I've not tried it yet so can't confirm if it works or not...

120k is just run in on diesel engines....just make sure it's had regular oil changes and belts done and it should go on and on and on.

It took a bit longer than expected, but i've finally got my wheel barrels and centres back from powder coating. I'll have another go tomorrow....it was so close but couldn't quite wrangle it in. failing to fit upper strut brace
~x( I tried fitting my w8 upper strut brace today....got the passenger side mount fitted no problems, but the drivers side is a complete ~x( ~x( . Do i need to remove anything to fit it? I would've thought they were the same as the b5.5 was just a facelifted b5. I would think that the shell and roof and therefore roof rails are the same on both.

That looks so much better in my opinion. The splitter and new wheels set it off. I've never been a huge fan of this shape golf estate (and I love almost all estates lol) But you're starting to change that with yours

I gave Das Wagon a detail on the weekend. Also took the sound deadening from under the bonnet, gave it a good wash and polished and waxed under the bonnet
