Re: Das Wagon, B5.5 sport...bits & pieces
I'm real happy with them....a nice subtle mod The bases came in 3 pieces, the 3rd being the bottom part of the actual mirror housing. I've not looked closely at the face lift ones, but i don't think this piece would fit with the indicators. like anything they could be made to fit, but don't think it...

Re: Das Wagon, B5.5 sport...W8 rear lights
My rear lights suffer from the common condensation problem. I've been keeping an eye out for some replacement units. I was toying with the b5 light swap, but it's becoming quite common now. So when zagatoes80 advertised he was breaking his W8 I decided to go down that route to be slightly different,...

Re: Das Wagon, B5.5 sport...carbon fibre mirror bases
Bigray had some carbon fibre skinned mirror bases up for sale...so after a few messages we struck a deal, they had never been fitted to his car. I fitted the passenger side to see how they fitted...It was good but not perfect http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag37/bigbennos/temporary_zps04fc8f9b.j...

Re: Das Wagon, B5.5 sport...exterior lights
Finally got a bit of time to update this. Nothing major has happened. I've organised a double garage not far from my house that I can use to do all the major stuff over the winter. so she'll be staying standard height for winter. I fitted some chrome side repeaters that i'd forgotten I'd ordered. be...

Re: hypothetically what car would you choose next?
Realistically I'd like a b5 s4 avant or an rs4. Money no object it'd be a new rs6. Although I'm 35 and have no kids or dogs i still wouldn't be without an estate lol..

Re: Das Wagon, B5.5 sport...upper strut brace fitted
I've finally got broadband back after nearly 7weeks...not having it has been a pita, but dealing with AOL, bt and openreach have been a total nightmare. But i won't bang on about that on here, but that's why i haven't updated this. Little bits and pieces have been done, so I'll have some updates soon.

I've got my tv and phone line with sky...all in £72 pm with sports and HD but no movies.... It's more than I'd like to pay, but if like me you like football, boxing, f1 and just sport in general, i don't think there is an alternative. The sky box and interface is by far the best out there. I've loo...

Re: A little advice on wheel refurbing please...
They could be a stunning set of wheels with a bit of work.
I'd start with some nasty industrial paint stripper first to get the original coating off. Then you can better assess the metal to see what grade grit to start with. You don't want to do any more sanding than you have to
