Very nice but is this m.o.t thing a definate if so alot of people are going to be out off pocket if the dpf brakes were all going to have to buy a new one or is there a cheap way of fixing them

I would leave it cant be bad if still running fine and a fule pump mate from what ive seen are very very pocket deep expensive

If its fine with foot pedle then i would say nothink to do with clutch its somethink to do with cruise control may be the stork is going faulty and sending intermittin signals

Ya as said no problems a few better engine then the pd alot quieter smoother refined just all round better engine i thought anyway all so in parkers price guid on the passat it says the new vw diesel engine (cr) is one of the best diesels around

I know this is a old post but what k hids did you have in this passat i want syanded white ones i think there 4300k just want to make sure before i orded them ur hids are what i want

If it's common rail the engine designation will be 4 letters starting with C.

Ok its somethink to do with your dpf diesel perticulator filter if thats spelt right and it should go into regenaration mode once back driving again to clear out all the soot

Dose anybody know what the standerd k bulb is in the hids on the passats as want a hid kit to look nice not a boy racer am guessing they will be 4000k

Almost all modern VW pd engines have a lumpiness at idle Quite normal to be fair Very true my mk5 golf gt had one and I done everything didn't get it to go I was also on ukmkivs Web site and all same problem some had dmf done and it sorted it but only for few weeks then returned so but my passat is...
