I find with my 07 Passat that the handbrake will not auto release if you are on any sort of an incline or decline on the road. In this instance I have to manually press the button to disengage the brake. When on a flat surface it auto releases each time with no problems.

After much searching I found this link. Gonna try and install my sub & amp today

I have just got an 07 TDI last week. I dont know what you call this ie, B6 or a B7?

Anwayz on the audio side, does the standard head unit in this car hand off a pre out for a sub or do I need to take a paralelled speaker output straight into my JBL amp?

If I were to have it chipped would I see a real benefit? I can get it done here in Dublin for approx 650Euro but is it worth it?

What would it take the BHP up to?
Would it be better on fuel?
Would I void my warranty with VW?

Hi Folks, some q's that I hope you can help me out with. Firstly, does the standard head unit in the 07 Passat have a pre out for an onward amp? I guess it dont but am hoping you guys can tell me different. Is there a 12 volt battery feed to be found anywhere in the boot that will power my amplifier...
