as above sounds like the maf could be on the way out maybe a result of the induction kit i ran one on a 20v before and it messed the maf up

according to the log book its metalic orange but its alot more red have seen a very similar bora and a4 avant in the sameish colour.

Have finally bought a passat 1.9tdi auto/tip with 88k and lots of history.

One slight problem I have with the car is the roof bars are loose at the front on both sides is this fixable diy the front of the roof bars look like they clip off but i do not want to force them is this how?

Took it for a test drive and it was doing about 34mpg average over a 5 mile route.

It still seems cheap tho 1770 for a X reg
