Thanks guys I'll order the 74mm one give it a whirl.
I tried pulling it away slightly so the wrench had some grip but it just started to bend the metal at the top

I originally bought the laser one from halfords, and had the same issue. yes i looked at a few like that on ebay but could only find one that was a 74mm 14 flute they look alot better with the nut and the drive square on top as apposed to recessed the nipple (i assume this is from when the plastic was formed) does stick up though the square drive hole roughly level with ...

I ran polished ats wheels for about 2yrs the guys in brum who polished them didn't laquer them and said the best thing i coukd do to look after them is to wash them as usual then coat them in wd40 this worked for years until i accidentially used a chemical cleaner on them.

i had problems with mine after i removed a fy eye kit that left lots of resedue on the lens I tried the turtle wax one and it didn't work that well but then I used tooth paste and that was great and cost £1
