Mine shakes on idle too after a drive, mainly shakes more on the hotter days. I personally feel its my injector loom, could theis be a similar issue for you??

Which is the best audi a4 b7 tdi to buy in terms of engine codes? And least problematic. Any help would be appreciated current car is the b5.5 tdi passat.

Will the screws work just on their own? Without the horse shoe clip? Because the hooks for that are broken.

yeah its the original intercooler, its the clip that broke on it keeps popping off. think ill have to try that lets hope it works and never pops off again.

I cant see how that would work self tapers? Could you shine a little light on that. I tightened it all with jubilee clips but its even blown them off.

I need a permanent fix, ive tried all thoes tricks sooner or later pops off again! Guess ill be needing a new intercooler

Boost pipe on my passat has just blown off from where it goes into the top of the intercooler, the issue is that horse shoe clip where its meant to be held into the plastic slot has broken on one side. I had the same issue not long ago, ive replaced the back disks and pads. Cleaned everything up and regreased caliper been fine eversince.

So after the under tray is off, theyd be situated towards the middle near the gearbox im guessing??

How easy or difficult is it to get a view of them? Withou having it on a ramp?

Has the car had a service recently? Tried changing the fuel filter? Try putting in better fuel if your not already doing so (avoid supermarket fuels). Mine used to do this back in the winter after changing glow plugs its perfect now.

My car gas recently started shaking after a hard drive, when your idling it shakes and the shake mainly feels stronger through the gear stick kind of confused help would be appreciated. It has a new clutch and flywheel and im sure it aint that. Avb 100pd tdi.

Hi there, my gear leaver seems to be shaking after ive drove it for a while. Usually does this when at traffic lights clutch down in first gear. What could this be??

Seems like a dogey glow plug to me, mine did the exact same, got really worse through the winter months after changing glow plugs it was fine.

Mine seems to have a mind of its own! Some days its squeaking others it aint. Makes it feels like the cars falling to bits! What was VW thinking eh??

Is it just me or does anyone else suffer from a creaking dashboard whilst driving over potholes and bumps? if so is there any way of reducing this creaking???

I think im going to give it a try removing them, time to get rid if the black ones and replace with the colour coded ones. Thanks for your replies, appreciate them.

Any advice on removing the rubstrips off the doors would be appreciated, how to go about removing them without damaging the paintowork?

Havent specifically got a budget in mind as of yet, but i really like the design of an exeo plus its something different, just fancied a change really, still keeping my passat tho! After all ive spent on it this year. Was wondering what people thought about them or if theres any know issues.

Im weighing up my options, wanting to buy a seat exeo what would you guys have to say about that? Curently own a b5.5 passat tdi 1.9 AVB 100.
