Re: The V5 Passat?
I have recently bought a V5 170 Passat and love it. The power is good, I can not be bothered to throw money on that side of things as it is suits me fine. If I wanted more power I would have gone for a S4 Avant.
All in all, a good car and can be found cheap nowdays.

Re: Removal of grill on B5.5
Ok, any further clues or is it a case of looking at it? I can see it moves but I am unsure what to remove in case I break it.Rich00p wrote:you have to remove the bonnet pull, quite easy to do.. just don't snap the retaining clip!

Removal of grill on B5.5
Hi
Just had a quick look and note that the bonnet pulley is in the way. What's the easiest way to remove the grill?
Thanks
Martyn

It's called a wife and a child and no room for a pushchair in the boot forced sale mate! Plus they are a nightmare to maintain, every month something would let go! It was like dating a girlfriend who shopped at Vercace and like to eat out at The Ivy! lol

Re: Passat vs Clio
Hi Doobie Sorry to see your car has been bashed. I don't work for insurance but I know that they have a duty to 'put things right'. I would imagine that they work the same way as I do as I have offered people a payout with a view of reducing our costs, however, when pushed we pay. If it goes to cour...
