The R36 has standard mirrors not chrome , you will spend a fortune and not fool anyone , r32 omynats are not the same as r36 ones , brakes ride height interior body kit and then you have only one exhaust

Re: I'm looking for a decent/local Paint Shop

I would always use a slow bake 2 stage paint shop . Mobile sprayers use to much thinners so it goes on quick and not much overspray, not baked just a lamp and no laqueer . Ok if you just want to sell on and looks fine for a while, then you get salt all over it in winter and it will scratch and stone...

Re: Tyre Pressure monitoring

Can't understand why you don't have tpms it will bong in snow! You should always press reset no matter which you have. With abs one the faster you go the difference in wheel circumference ( less air pressure ) shows up more , so you get a boing at high motorway speeds

Re: Bradford Passat accident

Well I was passing this very spot in MY R36 at 8 this morning and some tool in a c3 turned on me into the same junction, luckily I was doing 30 mph so could brake quickly, really wary today as I was taking my wife to work as someone pulled out on her and drove into the side of her car!(IX35) Axel is...

Re: Tyre Pressure monitoring

Just to clarify , the one shown in Jaraz picture are for 4 motion cars. Because when you have four wheel drive like mine it sends power to the wheel with the most grip, so wheels in icy weather will turn at different speeds so if it worked from the abs as in most cars it would flag up a boing and li...

You can turn the sensors off in maxidot , or you can reset it by pressing tyre pressure button. If you need a replacement wheell sensor get one from TPMS £45 not over a 100 that vw want http://www.tpmsuk.com/

No problems with my R36 , just water ingress ion boot but I fixed that, the drain tube pipe had come off, but a lot of problems on cars seem to be with Diesels and DPFs

Re: Anyone know about 'The Law'

If it is on private land yes nothing the Police can do, ( I reported a driver who drove off in 77 no action) but the insurance co can threaten him with a civil action if there is an independent witness ,( as in your case ) but 9/10 when your ins co get in touch his ins co will just roll over and pay

With every forum you only hear of the bad stuff, you will not get a post saying my car is perfect , forums are to help others with problems, My wifes Toyota had no end of trouble so we got rid, and mates Civic had 379 stone chips on the bonnet and bumper, said it might as well have chocolate on it i...
