Just use a pressure bleeder

Looking at fitting a catch tank 1.9 tdi
closed loop? or vented?
anyone running one or the other with some pointers and pics?

test the dash with output tests in vcds to rule out a cluster fault

egr wet with oil is very common and most don't worry to change them but if you wish its a new unit

Dealer you get a 2 year warranty on the parts

This is one reason I always fit calipers pairs
I just might be the fact one is new and one is old

pressure bleed the system is the best way with these.
Did both wind back all the away and using the same force or was one stiffer then the other?

what' the fault code?

01128 - Immobilizer Pickup Coil (D2)
35-10 - - - Intermittent

The coil reader or wiring connection will be your fault !

is this a 4 motion one? rear cv?

lock set is the way to go barrel is line up the cut out with the dot and paper clip or i have used a very small allen key to remove I have done a few lock sets on many vag due to lost keys or damaged locks Much cheaper than going the dealer route Just the key blade will no longer be correct if order...

i had the wipers and trim off as i did the servo and m/cylinder

it will come out but its very tight on space

good result then !

Sounds like the clutch master cylinder has failed had a few do it when trying to bleed

check the servo is not full of water had that before
Also check the vac pump where the pipe fits as the fitting can wear and allow play / leak

when you say no pressure do you mean the pedal its hard or travels to the floor?
