Ok so I need a towbar fitting to pull my trailer with track bike to meets will I have problems as my car is pretty low?

Some would say clear the codes and see which ones come back, but coil packs and plugs are relatively cheap it's up to you. Phone your local VW dealer and see if your car has had the recall for the coil packs, if not you may get four of them free, worth a phone call. Ok will do is it a simple case o...

Ok so I scanned my car and got 8 fault codes

So all seem to point to plugs,leads,fuel or vac leak! I did need a lead changing the other day is it best changing the other 3 and putting new plugs in?

No only have a cheap scanner!! I've done the battery of "chicken dance"'and seems to work for a short while then back again! I haven't checked all the plastic valves(are they all one way?) could it be a sensor maybe? I scan it later today and post codes if any! Problem I got the cars so lo...

Ok changed the pipe and still the same! I have cleaned the TB before bu I'll look again to be sure is it poss that it's a case of needing a TB setup?

Just had a quick look and found a damaged pipe! Runs from a L peace under the coolant tank into a hard pipe which gos into pass wing? It's flat in 2 parts and very worn! Doubt if any air is getting past how flat it is! I've got pics just gonna have a shower then I'll post!

VCDS is the best thing to scan for codes. I'd suspect a split/broken small bore vacuum pipe around the inlet manifold area. The pressure in the dipstick tube is possibly blocked breather pipes - a common issue. It's a good idea to take them off and clean them. Ok cheers I'll look at cleaning breath...

Can be anything can you or know someone to scan it for codes? Common problems are air leak, MAF, temp sensor, When were the spark plugs last changed? 2003 1.8t idle hunting!
Hi guys first post but I've been on here 2-3 years (can't find details) well as title my 2002 1.8t is hunting on idle upto 1500-2000 for few seconds or very low and lumpy? Guess it's a air leak? Where do I start, I do have a cheap scan tool (eBay job) best to scan and we what codes come up?
