hi all I want to do is remove the egr,I dont want to increase the power or anything I think the passat has ample for every day driving anyway I have a classic 1966 american car which I drag race it has over 500 bhp is 7.25 litres v8 so has plenty of torque & is capable of 0 - 60 in about 3 secon...

it`s a `53 plate first registered sep. 2003 1.9 tdi 130 bhp

my passat 1.9 tdi keeps throwing up fault code 19586 ,this apparently is a faulty egr valve would an egr delete kit, or bypasing the egr stop this? surely the computer will still throw up a code if the egr is bypassed or is there something I can do to stop this?
