You need to make sure the car is up to temp when checking the return. Flow to the bottle
Use the climate control to know Real time coolant temp as the gauges are somewhat inaccurate

Re: Challenge of the day: What IS this noise???
No idea on your noise but I would suggest like other replacing the pads again for a Decent make set
But the thing your saying about feels odd whilst parking is normally due to incorrect Tracking and as you say you have changed set of arms I would imagine it's Out

Depending on how switched on your mot center is it may still fail as they should be on the look out for the light to come on and go off signalling the esp system is working correctly

If it's a rear pipe you could cut the old pipe a bit further back where they run under the car and do a join there should give you more room to do the ends ect

Don't quote me in this but I think assuming your vac system is in good leak free condition you can bypass the ball all together

They would of incorrectly clipped the release cable on to the inner handle it s hard to explain what you need to do but first thing would be take it back and never let Halford touch your car again once it's fixed

It will work if you use the key blade in the door lock. And hold the key in the lock or unlock position will see the windows go down or up
