Who fabricated the intake for you? The gtb setup looks interesting 'top mounted'......my own is mounted on my Highline using the normal manifold with the Darkside adaptor and a bit of chassis leg fettling. I take it you will be heat wrapping the fabricated downpipe to minimise heat under the bonnet...

Yea I have used that method in the past on new engines on a scat cam for a be beetle Done some more reading and it seems just run a 2k for a few minutes to get good oil pressure in the lifters is all that's required then be gentle with it for a while like has been said! Erm iam not sure TBH the car ...

Iam having to change the cam and lifters on my pd due to wear and was wondering if there is a break in period for it? I have used after market cam before in other things and most state a time of 20-30mins of constant revs around 2500rpm is this the same on a stock cam? I have done some searching aro...

I bagged my B6. youll need a chassis notch for the front as your drivers side driveshaft will rub on the chassis when lowered. The is also some work that needs doing regading the upper wishbone or something on b5 variants. you newed to chop through the shock towers slightlyt i believe if i remember...

Door lock issue
Hey So when I lock my 5.5 it no longer flashes the indicators or beeps anymore, I have also noticed that if I push the lock button twice the passenger rear door unlocks whilst all over stay locked as they should, the car seems to see that door as being locked as the alarm sounds as soon as it opened...

You can do an oem upgrade to 345mm on the front using w8 uprights, calipers then using merc sl500 discs
It is a heavy set up and means a minimum of 17" wheel but works great

Yea I have just had a quick re read of yours mate The issues I have seem to be the flywheel one failed after 8 months of being fitted and Iam sure the current one that's been in about 18months is getting noisey when I turn the car off The clutch is already an sre job and is perfect with no slip ect
