I fitted this a few months ago, and is great, i bought the kit from my VW dealer and it comes with every thing in the box. And tells you what you have to do. And the only looking difference in the car is a little sliding button on the replacement stork that looks just like the other side as well.

Hi Matt i can't remember the settings, i didn't think much of it and just took it it was one of them, but i do remember it being a nice bright day so that helpped a lot.

yes over 250,000 miles now, i had to stop and get a snap to lol, and looking at the list it looks like i'm the most miles on a B5.5 can you add me to it please.
