Thanks for the advice. The microchip/insides of the key appears to be glued in. I’m guessing I have to get a Stanley knife or scalpel to free it?

Hi, does anybody do key fob repairs/refurb? All the car key repair places near me (Blackpool) won’t touch it. My unlock button has stopped working. I’ve tried new batteries but still no joy, the microswitch doesn’t click and no red light when pressed. I’m using the spare but could do with a working ...

Anyone know how to replace boot carpets please?
My 2007 b6 saloon, boot carpets, (both sides, with storage compartments) have become 'loose' and no longer fit properly. I think it may have shrunk, due to being wet in the past. It was already like this when I bought the car. I could live with it at first, but it annoys me now, as it's a bit untidy...

Hello from Blackpool
Recently got a B6. Gave it a full service, timing belt and water pump. It came with a slight oil leak which turned out to be intercooler oil seal. Its all good now, and I'm running it as a Blackpool taxi. It's a really nice car to drive, so much better than the Skoda octavia that it replaced. http:/...
