you can get a lead that plugs into the changer socket to run usb/sd cards for the digital storage bassjunkies is the only one i can think of off the top of my head. tbh i'd buy a tablet rather than headrest screens as it comes out easier and does more and will have a better picture quality if you ge...

Re: car's been stood up for a month or so...
they still work with the hazzards, just not when indicating. thinking its probably a relay, or the stalk tbh. but was hoping there is a way of testing as my wallet is still sore from the lambda sensor and maf in the last week. but my brand new bosch maf cost 40 quid as luckily i had a spare cam sens...

car's been stood up for a month or so...
and now the indicators dont work, but the hazzards do?
checked the fuse (was fine - swapped anyway)
on the plus side i've sorted the running issues out,
stupid question do i actually need indicators for the mot?

Re: misfire thats not sparks or coilpack?
no obvious leaks anywhere,
coilpacks - no impreza noise, and idles like poo on 4 cylinders rather than 2/3
coolant temp sensor changed a month or 2 back.
got a crank pulse/position sensor as well to do at some point when i work out how to fit it

misfire thats not sparks or coilpack?
alright chaps any idea what might be causing my misfire on a 1.8t awt?
it says misfire dectected, but no coilpack symptoms? changed the sparkplugs for pre-gapped ones
will idle like a bag of spanners but touch the throttle and it chokes splutters and cuts out

how hard was it to wire up the airbags on the mk4 seats? do the plugs match, or do they need splicing.
Also how much work was it to get the recaros on the passat runners?

Re: 1.8T all lumpy on start up
what about the sai (secondary air intake) you get them on golfs, assume the passats have them also, over time the screws/bolts/clips wear and it leaks air and makes it run rough.
can be taken apart and the bolts replaced - usually does the job
but not sure if the passat even has one tbh

et30
alright lads i think i want a rear offset of et30 by my guestimations.
question is, do i need hubcentric 5mm spacers, or will any old ones do.
and how much if any longer should the bolts be?

i'd only have decent alpines myself, bought a set of type E's.
they didn't last a fortnight before i changed them.
vdo make some pretty doody speakers, coaxes i had punched well above their weight
jbl can often be purchased cheap as chips and are made by the chaps who make infinty

criminals don't respect/fear the law they shouldn't be protected by it.
Take them to court, judge and court staff to leave. And the crowd can provide justice...
Benefits should be stopped for any prolific criminals ie 2+ offences of the same nature.

its alright, worse case you got a good reason to have the front resprayed
seriously though, use over 2000 grit before you start polishing and don't go mental, you can take more off, you can't put it back so break it down into stages, take a few attempts to do it.
