Re: Best ways to lower B6 Wagon?
I've just fitted soem Raceland Coilovers on b6 saloon and it looks really nice. The Coilovers were only 279 plus 10 delivery, obviously the ride will be bouncier/harder but it's not bad at all. They are also damper adjusting so you can have it even softer;) i recommend them tbh Sent from my iPhone u...

RLine kit
So I've just brought the R-Line Body kit for my 2008 b6. And I've just realised that there are small plastic trims at the bottom of the doors, can these be painted?? Or I need to buy some which can be painted??
Cheers in advance

Re: Lowering springs
I can't find any eibach sportline springs that lower by 40mm?? Am I missing something? I can only find the pro kit that lowers 30mm. I've heard that HR say they will lower by 40mm but you actually only get about 25-30mm drop??

Re: B6 Wheel fitment
Hmm yeah I can't really have a trial run, if I buy and fit them there's not returning them. Aren't exactly cheap either[emoji19]and yeah these cars can only suit s few style of wheels tbh. What were your 3 sets?

Re: B6 Wheel fitment
So you're saying they will most likely rub? That's not what I was looking to hear. I'm also gonna get lowering springs 40mm so that'll make it rub even more[emoji19] so what about 8.5 et32 all round?
And Gaz what do you mean has a greater risk of pot holes?

B6 Wheel fitment
I'm looking at some wheels for my b6 and have across some nice Ispiris, they are:
Front 19"x8.5 ET32
Rear: 19"x9.5 ET35
I'm just wondering if they aren't too wide? Will they fit with no rubbing?
Thanks in advance

Re: Lowering springs
Oooh that's perfect because I was looking at getting some 19s too. It's my exact colour as well.
I'm looking at springs now and there are some eibach pro kit performance springs 30mm, are they the same as the sportline?

Lowering springs
Looking to get lowering springs on my 08 plate Passat. I kinda know what ones I want and all but I'm wondering what it looks like, so if any of you have a b6 lowered by 30-40mm on H&R, Eibach or KW could you post some pictures up? This would be helpful Cheers in advance Sent from my iPhone using...

Re: Lowering springs
Okay so I'm looking at eibach pro kit performance spring for 180, but it doesn't say anything about how much it'll be lowered by, cause I don't want it too low, I'm just looking at a slight drop. And also I'm not sure about what shocks, if I buy springs alone will it still be okay on original shocks...

It's a highline so I'm guessing standard suspension? I've recently brought the car so I don't know much about it tbh

Lowering springs
I'm thinking or buying lowering springs on my b6 2.0. I've seen some decent apex lowering springs for like 120 by a 40mm drop, but does that mean I also need smaller shocks? I noticed that passats have an individual suspension set up so I have no idea what I need[emoji19] Help please! Cheers in adva...

Got a Passat 2008 2.0 tdi and looking to get some new shoes. I'm looking to get 19" 9Js but I'm not 100% if they'll fit? I'm sure they'll fit but there will be a lot of rubbing right? This is what I want to know. Do I buy some spacers or..? What are my options? (I do need 5x112 PCD right?) Chee...

Yeah that sounds like it could be the correct part. It's just labour to add on top now[emoji19]

Re: Flashing coil light - no power 2.0tdi CR 140! HELP
It most likely will be the actuator, when mine lost power I was just praying for the turbo to be okay[emoji23]causer they're expensive!
I would have brought a BMW, E36 or E46 but because I'm only 19 it wouldn't let me insure it. So my next option was a B6

Re: Flashing coil light - no power 2.0tdi CR 140! HELP
Don't know the actual price of the actuator but I took it to VW and I got quoted £341 for the part and labour. Dont think it'll be too much for the part itself mate

Re: Flashing coil light - no power 2.0tdi CR 140! HELP
I literally just had this problem
With mine. Exact model as yours and it was the turbo actuator. Had the same fault code as well. Pretty poo and ain't cheap. It sounds like it's starting to be quite a common fault

Re: Engine Fault: Workshop
Cheers for the reply, I was thinking I need to get it scanned really but wanted some thoughts from others too. I cycled the engine and still no power, it drives but not as much power as normal... Much less power. What's over boost? Never heard of this?

Bought a Passat 2.0tdi 2008, about 3 months ago and haven't had any problems... Until today.. On my way home from work engine fault workshop light came on with a orange glow plug, and I noticed that there was no power before the light came on.. Guess that's "limp mode"? Not sure.. And the ...
