Seats compatible with Audi A4?

Does anyone know if any model of Audi A4 seats will fit in a B6 Passat? I know the electrics will be different, but do they have the same rail/mounting points?

B6 driver's seat in a B7

Has anyone ever put a B6 driver's seat in a B7 (2012)? They look the same but are they interchangeable with no warning lights, etc?

I'd like a sport seat for the extra support - I've found loads for a B6 but none from a B7.

Re: TDI not reaching Normal operating temp [Sorted]

Sorry to dig up an old thread.

I have this problem and I've located the valve, it's really easy to reach when you remove the air filter box...

Do I need to flush the coolant before replacing the valve? I'm guessing if I just pull the old one off I'll get a driveway full of coolant?

Re: TDI engine temperature too low

I brought it in to two different main dealers... They read the code (no stored codes because it's too cool, not overheating) and they ran the car for a while. On those days it was behaving, so they didn't see the problem. Whereas today I sat at 70mph for over an hour and coolant temp needle was half...

I bought the car (approved used) a few months ago and have been back to VW a few times but it never does it on those days! Very annoying...

TDI engine temperature too low

I have a 2012 Passat 2.0 TDI (140) DSG Sometimes the engine temperature stays low for an entire drive. Regardless of speed - it has happened while sitting in traffic for hours or while sitting at 70mph. When this is happening, the engine temperature gauge will go up and down, but never reach 90, and...

Re: Question about the radio

Thanks for the replies. Shame they didn't make the bluetooth integration smarter - my last car had a 10 year old Sony head-unit which could skip/pause/etc with Android and iOS. The MDI cable doesn't help because I listen to streaming audio (Deezer) and don't have the files stored on my Android phone...

Re: Question about the radio

Yep bluetooth is working fine. When bluetooth audio is playing the screen just says "Bluetooth Audio" - like this: http://www.deynos.nl/contentfiles/Merken_Producten/mObridge/M2/RCD%20310%20BT%20audio.jpg Audio works but controls don't so I can't skip/pause from the car's controls, only fr...

Question about the radio

I've got the basic radio in my 2012 B7 - I think it's called the RCD 310. I use Deezer on my phone and it connects and plays well through the bluetooth, but I have no control (can't skip or pause). My last car had a bluetooth radio from over 10 years ago with full control - so it's a bit disappointi...

Modified driver's seat?

Has anyone done anything to the driver's seat to make it more supportive?

I've seen on other forums that some people have fitted longer bolts to the front of the rails to give the seat a slight tilt - I'm going to try that... But the base is so short and flat that I'm not sure it will help much.

Right knee support

Does anyone else find that the large "bottle space" in the door pocket means there's nowhere to rest your right leg?

Anyone ever managed to modify the door pocket to fix that?
