Hi, lost my spare remote fob and key, managed to find one in a scrap yard,
is there a way of replacing or reprogramming the key chip to match my original remote key.

Noticed black smoke marks on the side of my caravan the other week after towing.

Barring the sport seat, did vw use all the same foam on all the b5.5 seats. (Comfort)

Stripped the module out on monday, cleaned and lubed as some of the mechanism seemed tight in places. Rebuilt seems fine at the moment, I know it will probably go again, but at least I know how to remove it now. There was a sticker on the rear of the module but it didnt seem to be a vw part number. ...

Hi, is it possible to unplug the front door module/ selonoid without taking the inner metal panel off,
just want to check the connection as courtesy light isnt working unless you bang the door panel.

Just an update, got rid of that camera and fitted a bullet type in the bumper instead.

Thanks for the replies, is there any space in the inner boot as I have arrowed, or is the boot catch in the way to drill a hole.
If I have to replace the camera, which it looks like I will, can anyone recommend a real good one that I can position correctly

I would like to know if there is anything in the middle in between the handle and the light, as arrowed, so I can move the camera further over, as you can view from the I interior screen, the yellow is on the bumper and the towball is on the edge of the yellow markings. So this doesn't give me a cle...

I can tomorrow, get my son to do it, I am rubbish with pc's
It is a square camera with a central bolt that the wire runs through and then bolts through the bodywork on the left hand side of the left number plate light.
The image I get is not central, tow bar looks well off centre

I was supposed to be having that type but he said that when number plate taken out there is a housing it fits in so he couldnt fit it.
So he fitted a universal type that bolts through the bodywork.

B5.5 reversing camera
Had a reversing camera fitted by preston ice the other week and not happy with the location of it.
mine is a saloon and as you look at the rear it is on the far right side.
is there room to remount it between the number plate light and the boot handle?
there is a small square piece of bodywork there

When you hold the dip beam beam from behind it can be moved.

Thanks, I think I have got them back on now, but the dip beam assembly seems to be only secered on one side,
