key problem

Hi, lost my spare remote fob and key, managed to find one in a scrap yard,
is there a way of replacing or reprogramming the key chip to match my original remote key.

Re: Door Module

Stripped the module out on monday, cleaned and lubed as some of the mechanism seemed tight in places. Rebuilt seems fine at the moment, I know it will probably go again, but at least I know how to remove it now. There was a sticker on the rear of the module but it didnt seem to be a vw part number. ...

Thanks for the replies, is there any space in the inner boot as I have arrowed, or is the boot catch in the way to drill a hole.
If I have to replace the camera, which it looks like I will, can anyone recommend a real good one that I can position correctly

Re: B5.5 reversing camera

I can tomorrow, get my son to do it, I am rubbish with pc's
It is a square camera with a central bolt that the wire runs through and then bolts through the bodywork on the left hand side of the left number plate light.
The image I get is not central, tow bar looks well off centre

Re: B5.5 reversing camera

I was supposed to be having that type but he said that when number plate taken out there is a housing it fits in so he couldnt fit it.
So he fitted a universal type that bolts through the bodywork.
