sorry bud not had any experience with a sloppy stick :shock: but am sure someone will come along to advise , you could try lifting the gear gater and having a look at the top bushes etc see if any are split etc

i am pretty sure that hid's have to be in a projector style lamp as the the beam pattern with a normal lense scatters the light too much and will distract other drivers , although i do see alot of people running hids this way how they get on with the law i dont know (:o, have not tried those philips...

i have a B5 and added the 5.5 aero arms the only way i managed to get them a bit lower was to put a 1" shorter blade on the passanger side as it was hitting the A piller and adjust round a couple of splines still not realy low but better will try to get a pic done if that would help :esm

the only thing i have found being a B5 owner is that there is TBH nothing that is available that is oem anymore its a matter of trawling through ebay and ebay.de and also getting your thinking cap on and looking at other vehicles for solutions and things you like and then making them fit :esm

what i find so sad is that there is the belief by people that this scheme was there to help the environment FAIL !!! it was there so politicians could justify giving away more taxpayers money to private enterprise, why oh why have a scheme that takes away useable vehicles that have already consumed ...

got mine up and running sort of ok , my aquired version will allow me to read and clear fault codes but wont allow me to adjust advanced settings but it did tell me the only fault codes i have are for a faulty heated wing mirror and a blown rear speaker lol so i think i am pretty happy with that so ...

i cant see them having a problem in selling them as the whole passat community is calling for new tail lights lol, are there any final design ideas as yet ?????? and are they gonna be there for B5 and 5.5 from the off ????

thanks for the help guys , couple of quick other questions when using it does the cable have to be connected before program started and car started or is there any way the sequence has to be started also got a copy of vag dash so any pointers from anyone on that would be appreciated :D :D :D

i picked up a set of genuine velour mats with vw logo and correct fixings from dealer for £29.99 for all 4 cheaper than e-bay by the time you add in postage etc etc :D :D :D :D
