I noticed a metal valve or similar between the top of the engine and the the bulkhead. Is this the MAF? Will i need to clean or change it, and is there any of the other valves that will need changing? I will replace one of the short hoses as the rubber seems quite soft at one end and seems it would ...

I must admit I haven't been as right foot heavy as I used to be lol was trying to improve the fuel economy a little.

How do I get to the wire mesh oil separator ?

what's the best way to clean the turbo & intercooler? are they difficult to get off, and is there any particular cleaner I need to use?

all cleaned out now:) are there any other parts to take off that I might have missed? Is it possible to get the metal base of the dipstick tube out?

battery should be ok as it's a bosh silver. Car had been stood for a month and It got run down trying to start it as some times it won't start. How do I test the battery?

yeah it's crazy. I've never seen that many fault codes in one go before. I took the throttle body off yesterday & gave it a good clean out with throttle body cleaner

It all went pear shaped after I took the bumper off to fix one of my headlights :( I accidental ran the car on the driveway without the airbox pipe in place :(

cool, I have head that they let less light through though?

I quite like the look of the ones where they are painted black inside. Has anyone got any of those?
