I noticed a metal valve or similar between the top of the engine and the the bulkhead. Is this the MAF? all cleaned out now:) are there any other parts to take off that I might have missed? Is it possible to get the metal base of the dipstick tube out?

battery should be ok as it's a bosh silver. Car had been stood for a month and It got run down trying to start it as some times it won't start. How do I test the battery?

yeah it's crazy. I've never seen that many fault codes in one go before. I took the throttle body off yesterday & gave it a good clean out with throttle body cleaner

It all went pear shaped after I took the bumper off to fix one of my headlights I accidental ran the car on the driveway without the airbox pipe in place

is there a good how to or guide for doing the clean out? think I might have the same issue due to lots of mayo in the dipstick tube. I do do alot of short journeys & would like to clean the system as part of the maintenance
