I did have the compressor replaced 2 years ago and have only covered 4-5 thousand miles since but worth a quick check!

My system is nearing 10 years old and the weak points are definitely the valves, I didn't want to buy a cheap kit of Chinese parts as I'm only going to do it once. Thanks for the part number Maclee ill give TPS a call to see if I can get those this week and confirm they are good for my 2014

100% the car does not require coding for the battery

I had this on my B7 a few years back and it was my front hub bearings, one was really obvious and had play the other had the tiniest of squeaks.
I would check balancing and depending on the wheel to see if you have any buckling.

I've just reset all of mine through vcds. I went into the ESI section but this only deals with NAS markets (on my vcds anyway) but I noted all of the fields that can be modified.

I would suggest the lock.
Ive not done the passat before but its usually a few screws under the arm and behind the door open handle inside and then trim clips.
Theres normally a screw that holds the handle in place too.
