Difference is the former pair service Audi A4 as well, Passats use all 4 from my understanding, which is superficial.

Does the DQS v6 gearbox input shaft mate fully or is some kind of spacer/bush needed. Trying to swap out a FRK on a sport, which is a four cylinder crank obviously there are differences in V6 crank and wondering if this manifests in length of input shaft , what about speedo cable, straight fit...? Yeah I was expecting around £500 all in, there was a guy in Thames Ditton quoted me £450 for the "common problem" on FRKs, guess he meant pinion bearings..

Should have taken him up on it...

Well that didn't work, £250 to remove £250 for parts £250 for labour (guess thats working on box) PLUS VAT so a grand just to do pinion bearings, not an option.

Sooo...gonna ring around for ELN gearbox, grrrr.

Still hunting for a gearbox for PD130 sport. Came across this, seller reckons it will fit just need different speedo cable and longer mounts, can I just source mounts or do they have to be fabbed, Speedo cable, fit the V6 into 1.9 cluster...? Passats seem to have dropped in price so need to keep it ...

Should've taken pictures, still. Boot was scratched by previous owners cat sleeping there. Used T cut metallic, then Mcguires ultimate compound, scratches in clear coat were still visible but diminished . Got some autoglym polish and they now just look like swirl marks, in some lights a good finish....

Poor thing, been utterly reliable, serpentine belt caught me out but apart from that, quantom oil, VW filters oh and a brake sensor never had a problem. Had the whine in over run for a while, changed oil and a bit of snake oil but need it sorted. 6 speed FKR I think is the code. Anyone know of a goo...
